International PharmaScience Center (IPC), Copenhagen
Inside the International PharmaScience Center (IPC) 27 nationalities work side by side in the 80m high building - one of the highest in Scandinavia.
International PharmaScience Center employs close to 420 people. The majority work in the development centre where Ferring’s product development activities were consolidated in 2002. Seventeen floors of an open plan office environment house service functions for Ferring’s Marketing and Sales companies, production sites and research centres.
The company is located in Ørestad - just 5 km from the centre of Copenhagen. Public transport to IPC is excellent with Metro, domestic and international train connections, express highway and Copenhagen International Airport (Kastrup) very close to the offices.
ARCHITECTURAL LANDMARK
The IPC is located in Ørestad in a spectacular 20-floor building completed in 2002 by the internationally recognised Danish architect Henning Larsen. It is built mainly of steel and glass and in the beginning of 2003 IPC was granted an award for “Building of the Year 2002”. This architectural landmark is a symbol of Ferring’s aspiration towards excellence in everything we do. It has a superb interior with meeting rooms and offices designed in an open-space environment, equipped with ergonomic furniture.
Ørestad is a new area of Copenhagen that is in close proximity to Copenhagen Airport (Northern Europe’s main airport), the Metro, trains and highways. This means that International PharmaScience Center is within easy and fast commuting distance of Malmö, Sweden and the entire Copenhagen area. Parking spaces are available at the premises of International PharmaScience Center.
